Worlds best gay city host to 16th pride event

Hi All

Tel Aviv celebrated its 16th Gay pride event in Tel Aviv  Friday 13th  June 2014; attended by over 100,000 people. As The Jerusalem Post said :

"It is no surprise that this event was so heavily attended; the only state in the Middle East that does not outlaw homosexuality, Israel, and specifically Tel Aviv, is host to a large and vibrant LGBTQ activist community."

So yet another reason why Israel is in total contrast to her neighbours as a beacon of liberty and liberal democracy.

From the pictures shown in the post, it looked really fab, with people having such a wonderful time (:

  1. That's because us Israelis are civilized and treat minorities with respect and protection. Contrast this with how the Arab world treats LGBTQ people and other minorities, such as Christians. There is no comparison!

  2. Yet another reason to support Israel; her excellent LGBTQ scene (:

  3. Hi Sophie,

Perhaps we could all go over to Tel Aviv next year and take part in the pride event? That would be cool, wouldn't it?

  4. Hi Bro,

Yeah as I said in the article Israel is the ONLY country in the ME where being LGBTQ is OK!

This is a sinful event! The Bible condemns such orgies and sexual behavior!Same-sex marriages are NOT honored in Heaven, as are heterosexual marriages... "And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh...What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder" (Matthew 19:5,6). Same-sex marriages are NOT legitimate marriages in any sense of the word. Perhaps they could call it, "gay shame" or "gay embarrassment"; but there's absolutely nothing to be proud of for rebelling against God. Why don't they also promote, "Gay Adultery" and "Gay Murder"? Sin is not "gay," it is a life of misery that leads to disease, sorrow and Hell.

By the way, "gay" was once a decent word describing someone who was happy and cheerful. I never refer to homosexuals as "gays." I refer to them as God calls them, "Sodomites." Homosexuality is called Sodomy in the trustworthy King James Bible. I do not hate anyone, I simply hate what God hates, and has declared a wicked abomination—homosexuality. There is no "pride" in rebelling against God in Heaven, i.e., the God of the Bible Who created us.

Homosexuality is SIN!The Bible condemns homosexuality. It is NOT our job to criticize and condemn homosexuals; HOWEVER, it is our duty as Christians to proclaim the message of the Word of God that HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN. We must preach against the sin; but not condemn the sinner. Only God has the right to condemn anyone. Even Jesus said He didn't come into the world to condemn people; but He clearly stated that His Word (i.e., God's Word) will judge the wicked... "And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day" (John 12:47,48). The Word of God condemns all men as guilty sinners (Romans 3:19).

    Do you see the difference?

Only a Zionist could be so craven as to use a gay pride event to attack the Palestinian quest for justice and freedom. You're disgusting.

  7. Not at all. I'm simply pointing out a fact, namely that Israel is the ONLY STATE in the middle east which it is not a crime to be gay et al and has a tolerant and liberal attitude toward LGBTQ people. If you can't handle this basic simple fact because supporting something quite illiberal doesn't compute with you, then that is your intellectual and moral problem and not mine. Nor anyone else's for that matter.

  8. Hey , they are always very colourful aren't they? Not sure if a devout Jew, such as myself would ever go to such a rally, though.

  9. Hi Esther

I'm sure you'd be very much welcomed! (:
